FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION
HERBAL MEDICINE
My practice is based on functional nutrition and herbal medicine, which address the root cause of imbalance within the body in order to restore health and well being.
Herbal medicine has been used for more than ten thousand years to enhance the body’s innate healing process for both chronic and acute illness. It incorporates modern science with traditional herbal wisdom, while emphasizing quality, safety and efficacy. Functional nutrition and herbal medicine can be beneficial in cases where traditional medicine has been ineffective, or problems simply will not resolve themselves.
Understanding the connections between diet, lifestyle, environment, genetic factors and medical history is essential to the healing process.
The foundational belief of functional nutrition and herbal medicine is: when the body is properly nourished and provided the support it needs, it will heal itself. Optimal health is found in the balance of body, mind, and spirit.
My approach is collaborative where we work together to address your concerns and health issues.
